今日（正確には日本時間の明日）は、ジョンレノンの命日です

あれから２５年が経ちました。 先ほど、Virgin RadioでJohn Lennonが The Beatles時代に書いた”In My Life”は、 彼が１７歳で作詞していたと言っていました。 彼は、欺瞞に満ちたこの世で”Give Me Some Truth” と言っていました。混沌としたこの世は 相も変わらずですし、ここ日本では、「×××真理教」 のお陰で地に落ち、陳腐化した「真理」ですが、 John Lennonが伝えようとした、メッセージに 耳を傾けるとき、この「真理」は、本来の輝きを持ち 私たちに、改めてその意味を問い正すのです。 “In My Life” There are places I’ll remember All my life though some have changed Some forever not for better Some have gone and some remain All these places have their moments With lovers and friends I still can recall Some are dead and some are living In my life I’ve loved them all But of all these friends and lovers There is no one compares with you And these memories lose their meaning When I think of love as something new Though I know I’ll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I’ll often stop and think about them In my life I love you more Though I know I’ll never lose affection For people and things that went before I know I’ll often stop and think about them In my life I love you more In my life I love you more
